Mama is busy

Well, I have officially survied my first "almost" full week of being home alone with the boys while Chess was in Chicago. I had a mini meltdown Tuesday when he left. I think a mixture of hormones and being scared to have any kind of help 5-10 hours away from me. I called mom & Chess and they managed to talk me through it. Charlie had a little virus to add to the fun, but he is all better and back to his good ole self now!! I swear that kid is not happy unless I am doing something for him every second of the day ;)

Aiden went for his 1 month checkup (at 6 weeks oops). He weighed 10lbs 2 oz and is growing good!! He is in the 50th percintile just like Charlie always was! They gave him his shots :( Man I hate that and she said he has something called tounge tie. Poor little fella has to have something clipped under his tounge next Wed. Say a little prayer for him & for me. Not sure who the procedure will be tougher on. They say it's minor and are doing it right there in the ENTs office. I will update everyone after it is done.

I also had my 6 week checkup and everything healed fine. I am good to start my workout routine and try to get back into shape!!! I will be looking forward to the gym just to get an hour to myself each day!! The boys seems to do good in the nursery there, so that is a plus!

Other than that, not too much to report. Charlie is getting really into baseball. He's been watching the Sandlot and is obessed...he reminds me a lot of Matthew at that age! Im' still working on getting Aiden sleeping through the night. He goes about 4-5 hours but it's usually from 7 or 8 pm until midnight or 1. I need to change that from 10pm until 5am!! I have been so sleep that I haven't had the energy to stay up until 10 and feed him LOL. Maybe the gym will help with that too!

Now...some pics :)

sorry there are just a few. I will be mailing birth annoucements soon :)

  2. Hey Robyn!
I just wanted to let you know that Bateman also had his tongue clipped, and it was really no big deal. Within a minute, he was nursing and we never had another issue. If the frenulum (that part under the tongue) is really tight, it could cause speech problems later anyway. So no worries, Mama! Thanks for the updates. The boys look like they're thriving!
    Love,
    Valerie
