Yes we are still here...

It's been a while I know!! These boys have been keeping me busy, but I promise to try and update more often. Well, Aiden is up and moving around, pulling up on everything and crawling everywhere!

Charlie is starting mothers day out at a local church tomorrow! I just know he is going to have a blast and I will benefit from the break but it's bittersweet!! I read the parents manual today and then cried like a baby!!!

Busy Busy little nest

It's been a while since I've updated. It's been a busy little nest around here. These little boys keep me running, but they couldn't be cuter!! Charlie is doing great in his big boy underwear. He has been about 6 days with no accident!!! YAY for saying goodbye to big boy diapers :) He is also just seems like such a big boy. He is talking so much now and making us laugh all the time ;) He doesn't forget a thing either. If you make a promise, you better be prepare to pay up!!

Little Aiden is growing like a weed too. He is just about sitting up on his own and almost even crawling!!!! Little booger. He started on some rice cereal and is taking 8oz bottles. I'm still nursing him, but sometimes he still seems hungry so I supplement with formula. He loves watching his big brother play and talk to him. They are so sweet together. When Aiden starts to cry Charlie is the first to the scene!!

I will leave you with some recent pics & video of the cuties

Baton Rouge Visit, Easter & Potty Training

Lots has happened since my last post so I will catch you up. They boys and I spent two weeks in Baton Rouge visiting family. Chess got to visit a little, but not the whole time. We had a great time. We really miss our family & friends back home!!!

We went to the strawberry farm with Matts class, spent lots of time with the grandparents and even got to visit Granny (Great Grandma). Charlie has his first sleepover at Matt's new house. Paw Paw built a fun new tree house with slide for the kids too!!!

We came home just in time to celebrate Aidens 1st and Charlie's 3rd Easter. Charlie was really excited about it this year. He really like the idea of the Easter Bunny bringing him goodies...although he was not a huge fan of sitting in his lap!!!! We went to church and then to our friends house to eat & let the kiddos hunt eggs. Charlie had fun, we were all wore out come Sunday evening!!

I've also been working on potty training with Charlie and he's doing great!!! He still has accidents, but has been wearing underwear for a week now and has had a couple of accident free days!!! I'm so proud of my big boy. I know Chess will be glad to cut down on the expense of diapers!!

That's about all that is going on here with us for now. Keep us in your thoughts as this bad weather season continues on. We've had a couple of scary night. There are a lot of tornados around here this time of year!!

Pics were taking too long to upload, check em all out here:

Well our little man is 8 weeks old. Time is flying by!! He has been sleeping through the night for about a week now so that makes for a very happy mommy & daddy!!! Mama is busy

Well, I have officially survied my first "almost" full week of being home alone with the boys while Chess was in Chicago. I had a mini meltdown Tuesday when he left. I think a mixture of hormones and being scared to have any kind of help 5-10 hours away from me. I called mom & Chess and they managed to talk me through it. Charlie had a little virus to add to the fun, but he is all better and back to his good ole self now!! I swear that kid is not happy unless I am doing something for him every second of the day ;)

Aiden went for his 1 month checkup (at 6 weeks oops). He weighed 10lbs 2 oz and is growing good!! He is in the 50th percintile just like Charlie always was! They gave him his shots :( Man I hate that and she said he has something called tounge tie. Poor little fella has to have something clipped under his tounge next Wed. Say a little prayer for him & for me. Not sure who the procedure will be tougher on. They say it's minor and are doing it right there in the ENTs office. I will update everyone after it is done.

I also had my 6 week checkup and everything healed fine. I am good to start my workout routine and try to get back into shape!!! I will be looking forward to the gym just to get an hour to myself each day!! The boys seems to do good in the nursery there, so that is a plus!

Other than that, not too much to report. Charlie is getting really into baseball. He's been watching the Sandlot and is obessed...he reminds me a lot of Matthew at that age! Im' still working on getting Aiden sleeping through the night. He goes about 4-5 hours but it's usually from 7 or 8 pm until midnight or 1. I need to change that from 10pm until 5am!! I have been so sleep that I haven't had the energy to stay up until 10 and feed him LOL. Maybe the gym will help with that too!

Now...some pics :)

sorry there are just a few. I will be mailing birth annoucements soon :)

Welcome Aiden Carter

We were so happy to welcome Aiden Carter Green into the world on January 17th at 3:29 pm via csection.  The little guy was 6 lbs 15 oz and 20.5 inches long.  He is one handsome baby boy!!  His birth was much less dramatic than his big brothers.  I had a planned csection this time and it was very nice.  I was so happy to hear his cry that I teared up a bit.  I was so happy to hear that we was here and was healthy.  I didn't get to hold him for a few hours, but I've made up for it the past couple of weeks :)

My mom & dad were here for about a week and half after he was born and were such a big help.  I was pretty sore and couldn't get up and around much, so taking care of a toddler was a hard task.  Thankfully I had plenty of help!  They took Charlie with them for a Baton Rouge visit when they left so we are anxiously waiting for him to come home!! I was going to get him today, but due to bad weather, I will have to wait until tomorrow!  Charlie is doing great with the baby so far, hopefully when it's just the 3 of us and daddy is back and work and all our visitors are gone, he will still do just as well!!

Aiden is a good baby and so far a great sleeper...he did not get this from big brother LOL.  He is only waking up once a night for a feeding and goes right back to sleep!!  He usually wakes up around 5am when daddy is getting ready for work, but goes back to sleep after eating, so I've been taking advantage and getting some extra sleep then too!!!  Well, enough rambling I guess...here are some pics!

They took some pretty cute pics at the hopsital.  If you go to this link http://our365.com/NewbornPortraits/Default.aspx?SM=ByFamily&BY=2011&BM=1&BD=17&FC=Olive+Branch&FCY=US&FS=MS&MLN=Gre
